  • "This letter is to let you know what a great team you have in your Service Department. They recently helped me while I was on an extended road trip from my home in Tennessee. As I approached Oklahoma City, I encountered an abnormanl and worsening vibration in my Honda PC800. They quickly and expertly diagnosed the problem (a bad universal joint) and had my machine back in service in just two days. Fortunately for me, a friend in the area had a spare motorcycle available that allowed me to continue my trip without interruption, but had that most fortunate option not been available, I would have still been able to complete the bulk of the planned trip on my machine, thanks to the prompt attention your Service Department provided. When I returned to your area last Tuesday, I found my machine ready and waiting for me to return home without a hitch. Please pass along my gratitude to Phillip Shepherd and his team for their help in my time of need. It is people like them in the motorcycle industry that make those of us who ride feel like part of a large and caring family, and that keeps us active and engaged. Sadly, not everyone in the business has such dedication to supporting the customer.   • "I ride with several clubs. Last year as a member of Indian Territory Red Rider's I took a 3,000 mile trip with 22 other riders to Amarillo, Las Vegas, and several National Parks in Utah. While in Utah I got food poisioning and an Ambulance took me to a local hospital for 2-3 days. I intended to keep a high dollar room at the Inn we were staying at until I got out out of the Hospital. The President of the ITRR's would not have any such talk! Gary and Vina (Club Presidents came to the Hospital, got my room keys, packed my clothes, checked me out of the Inn and drove my Gold Wing back to Oklahoma City and Chuck Cantwell came down to the shop (On a Sunday) and stored my Gold Wing with no charge until I got back home. That's what I call really good friends. If you are looking for a great club to ride with, they never leave their riders by themselves broke down somewhere! Mark in service and John in parts went out of their way to call and verify everything was shipped and then tracking the missing part down. The VTX1300C is the perfect bike, not too big, but big enough not to get blown around, and handles like a dream.
