Oklahoma Grand Tour

Oklahoma Grand Tour 20
It's a dam good ride!

Welcome to the 20th Oklahoma Grand Tour! This tour packet contains a list that will take you to 13 different dams located across the state, a map of the state of Oklahoma, and an Oklahoma Grand Tour sticker.

Proof of a visit can be a picture of your motorcycle at the location or a receipt of purchase such as an item from a gift shop, fuel stop, soda, meal, signature of an official, or card of someone at the location.

When taking your picture proof look around for signs, project or park offices. If there are none, and some do not have any, look for a place to photograph your bike with the dam in the background. This will take a little creativity from each participant but research has been done to ensure that it can be done safely and legally.

As you ride to each location make sure to take time to see other things along your way to get there. It’s not always the destination but the journey getting there that is most rewarding.

Put proof in the tour packet. Labeling your pictures with your name, packet number, and location would be helpful. Deadline to return completed packets is April 30th 2011.

Oklahoma Grand Tour 20 goes through April 30th 2011.

Did you know there are over 4,300 dams in the state of Oklahoma?

Oklahoma Grand Tour packets are only $10 each.
If you need your packet mailed to you please include $1.50 with your payment.

Oklahoma Grand Tour 19 awards ceremony!

It was a rainy day and our plans for outdoor fun at the awards ceremony kind of fizzled but we still had a good crowd and a good time.

The Grand Prize winnder was Mark Flemings and the second chance winner was Gary Berry. Largest clube to enter and complete the ride was the Indian Territory Red Riders.

The mystery location was the historical markers at Lugert Lake near the Quartz Mountain lodge.

We would like to thank David and Phyllis Chappell for all the hard work they did cooking for us.
